Cropped layer names with 'Large' Font UI Size

Floor

Recommended Posts

The layer names in the layer panel are cropped when the Font UI Size is set to Large. The descenders are not visible.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable Preferences > User Interface > Font UI Size > Large
  2. Create a new layer named 'typography'

Result:
'typography' is shown in layer panel, but descenders are cropped off, see screenshot

@EmT , here is an additional eyesore linked to the problem OP mentioned. Look at that jumble. :)

Seeing this in an app that is made to help us produce top-notch typography guarantees a mini-seizure in user's type centre (if a place like that exists). :) God bless... There's about 7 type variations here for a three-level hierarchy of info.  Just begged to be posted. 😇😈

Edit: image from AP2 but the same applies for AD2.

The issue "Font UI Size set to Large clips descenders in the Layers Panel" (REF: AFB-5632) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.1.0.1742".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.

Please note this post refers to a Layers Panel specific fix and we will be working on other large fonts issues (of which there are many) in future releases.
