It's working as expected here, can you make a quick screen recording showing the issue? MikeTO
Just a guess, but try this. Choose File > New. Single click to select a preset. Click Create. Now you will have a saved default. Choose File > New. Double click a preset to create a document of this size. Did it work? I have no idea if this will work but it's worth a try. I have never double clicked a preset and when I tried it just now it worked but I've already created documents and thus have a default. Both options didn't work made a video to illustrate what is happening. NewFile.mov
Dan C
Thanks for providing that for me! I'm not seeing the same behaviour here, but I can certainly see in your recording that the preset you are selecting is not being activated. Can you please close the Affinity app, then re-launch the app. During loading, hold down the CTRL key and wait for the Clear User Data window to appear. Here, tick the 'Affinity Designer' box at the top of the list, so that everything in the first category is selected, then click Clear. The app should now open, having been reset to default settings. Are you now able to create documents of different preset sizes please? Be aware that resetting your app back to its default settings will lose any custom settings such as keyboard shortcuts and brushes etc.
