iOS 16.1 update functionality problems with the Apple pen

Recommended Posts

Hi I updated to IOS 16.1 ON MY IPAD PRO and ever since my Apple pen can select things in affinity photo, size or resize select text, but the pen function for actually writing, isn’t there. Normally you would open a text frame and tap the pen tip icon that appears on screen, but it’s not there to select!
has anyone else had this? It’s very frustrating, as I’m used to using it, instead of having to try and get the keyboard for the iPad to appear. HELP 😭😭

You need to turn Scribble off under Settings -> Apple Pencil -> Scribble. when using Affinity and then the keyboard appears.
