Feature request: choosen tool should stay the same while flipping between opened files

For me it seems very strange: If I have opened, say concurrently 10 portrait pictures of my team in order to optimize and crop them for web purposes, in every case I flip to the next picture I have again to choose the tool I just used in picture before! And if I want to crop them finally, again, I have to choose the crop tool again for every next open picture.
If I'm right: Same to AFPub..

I hope, I haven't overseen that there is a setup aspect in the preferences?

Therefore my feature request: The tool I have choosen for one file to work with should stay choosen for every file within the same application of AF Suite.

-1, I can't agree with you.
Although it makes sense in your case, I usually work on completely different projects at the same time, in which I use different tools (depending on the situation at hand). So the fact that each document keeps its context (its currently selected Persona and its currently selected tool) is absolutely essential and logical for me.

Your point of view is of someone badly rushed. It is like walking through a auto repair shop with a 2" wrench in it hand – but while walking on, the wrench transforms in a screw driver, then in a oil can, finally in a hammer. Or take a physician! While he is walking from hospital room to hospital room, the medicine in his hand transforms from heart attack to stomach gel, to a scalpel.

No, you obviously didn't understand my point of view at all. I'm not talking about linear behavior, but about switching and preserving context.
Simple situation - I work in APub, Publisher Persona, Frame Text Tool, with which I modify/edit the texts in the publication. A client calls - I open their document, switch to Designer Persona, and use the Move/Node Tool to adjust the shape/strength of the line according to the client's wishes. I save, close his document, and go back to the text editing I was originally doing in the previous document, where, thanks to the ingenuity of the Affinity developers, I was left with the Publisher Persona, the Frame Text Tool selected, and the correct text frame selected, so I can continue my original work without any problems.
