NicBham Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 Please could someone help me export this cloud as an image? I don't want the weird checkerboard background just transparent so I can add the graphic to my artwork. thanks! Sim.20191106.21.eps Quote
GarryP Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 The checkerboard is part of the design – lots of rectangular-shaped Curve layers – and will need to be removed manually. I would recommend downloading a better version from where you got this design. Quote
NicBham Posted October 4, 2022 Author Posted October 4, 2022 Yes that is what I feared! I have messaged the designer but they are not replying, sold me something a bit rubbish it looks like! Quote
GarryP Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 I’m seeing all kinds of ‘weird’ lines on the design too – possibly where bitmaps have been clipped – so the end result may not be particularly good anyway, even if you manually removed the checkerboard. Exporting to PNG shows the lines. I feel that there must be some good free cloud bitmaps out there on the web somewhere which you could use instead. Quote

I'd agree! There may be some reason for wanting a vector cloud image, but if you want a transparent image (e.g. png) then it's probably better to start with one, rather than trying to convert an eps file! GarryP Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 If you have Photo then you can easily make your own bitmap clouds – see attached video. Duplicate/manipulate the 'cloud' layers by experimentation and see what sort of clouds you can make. 2022-10-04 13-43-01.mp4 Quote
v_kyr Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 It's pretty useless in that state as an EPS ... NicBham Posted October 4, 2022 Author Posted October 4, 2022 thank you everyone for your help. I managed to just find a free image in the end! what a waste of time haha Quote
