Hello

On could call this a UX flaw, too, but one that brings a lot of work when not being aware of.

I forgot to group a design before drag&dropping it onto the assets panel. This lead to dozens of single elements which I had to delete individually. It would be great to either:

  • AD ask what it should do when releasing it in the panel
  • AD grouping them (maybe not sooo ideal)
  • AD having the ability to select more than one element in the assets panel in order to get rid of them quickly (or drag them all onto the artboard)

I made a short movie.

It may not have done what you expected, but I think it did exactly what you asked. Seems appropriate for a Feature Request, but in my opinion it's not a Bug.

Serif will have the final say, of course :)

I agree that one of, or both, of the above options would certainly help here - but currently this is expected behaviour when dragging a multi-selection into the Assets Studio.

Therefore I'm moving this thread to the Feedback section of the Forums, for our devs to see and consider this for a future update :)
