cara999
Hello I am trying out publisher for the first time and having a nightmare. I am currently using a trial , are things not working because I only have atrial at the moment. I go file-new-enter my page sizes and all other info pages margins and bleed etc. I can create a new page but I cannot label it, name it I cannot set up and label a preset. when I double click on my mouse it just opens the page. How do I name a file or a page. thank you.
GarryP
Welcome to the forums @cara999 The trial software is fully functional apart from the amount of time you can use it for. You cannot name pages but this has been requested so Serif are aware of the requirement. You can name presets via the New Document dialog but I’m not sure if that’s what you want to do. A screenshot showing where you're having problems might help. Old Bruce
Look for the little Philips head screw next to the Preset name, click it and you'll get a new Preset made, to rename the ones you make just Control + Click or Right Click on it in the My Presets section. GarryP
In addition to what Walt said above - it helps us to help you if you are as precise as possible - if you mean page/document presets then my attached video should help. 2022-09-28 14-18-41.mp4

Do that & for example if you hover the pointer over the cross in a circle (the button that looks like the top of a Phillips head screw) this tooltip will pop up: Quote All 3 1.10.8, & all 3 V2.4.2 Mac apps; 2020 iMac 27"; 3.8GHz i7, Radeon Pro 5700, 32GB RAM; macOS 10.15.7 Affinity Photo 1.10.8; Affinity Designer 1.108; & all 3 V2 apps for iPad; 6th Generation iPad 32 GB; Apple Pencil; iPadOS 15.
