Freeform gradient is the future , now I think everyone is using freeform gradient. , Because its easy and modern ,

I check them all , I think they are talking about mesh gradient ,. And I am talking about freeform gradient

This is freeform gradient which is very easy to use ,  powerful and modern.

And this is mesh tool , which is difficult to use , and it  is very old ,

I would like to have a freeform gradient for Designer as well.

I remember a dev some years ago mentioning on these forums that he was working on an advanced gradient option in Designer, but it would take some time before it was actually ready. He also mentioned that he could implement the old school way of doing multiple gradients as well, but at the time most people agreed that it is just as well that he focused on fixing the idea he originally planned. 

So yeah, it is on the radar, but who knows when it will be added.
