Trimming canvas

Hi There,

Can you tell me how I trim the canvas?

If I add some text that extends beyond the canvas is there a way for me to choose "Trim Canvas" and the canvas encompasses everything.

I assume that you use Affinity Photo.

Go to Document -> Unclip Canvas

I have just come out of designer and trying it in photo.

But in photo how do I add an arrow head to a line?

If it is to be just the tip, then use the triangle tool. Otherwise you can use the arrow tool.

Please just ask one question per thread. This has nothing to do with the Designer question

Just look for the stroke in the Context toolbar once you have selected the curve/line.

No, there is no function to trim like Affinity Photo

You can do it with artboards in Designer with:

1. View - Clip to canvas [\ key]
2. Rasterize and Trim -Also something I use a lot is Rasterize and Trim' on the Layer Panel Menu. Really useful for cropping back images that overhand the artboard
3. Mask to below with rectangle in layer above
4. Paste everything inside a rectangle
