Steve2106
Hi There, Can you tell me how I trim the canvas? If I add some text that extends beyond the canvas is there a way for me to choose "Trim Canvas" and the canvas encompasses everything. Thanks for the help. Best Regards, Steve. Komatös
Hi @Steve2106 I assume that you use Affinity Photo. Go to Document -> Unclip Canvas Quote AMD Ryzen 7 5700X | INTEL Arc A770 LE 16 GB | 32 GB DDR4 3200MHz | Windows 11 Pro 24H2 (26100.2161) Affinity Suite V 2.5.5 & Beta 2.6 (latest) Interested in a free (selfhosted) PDF Solution? Steve2106
I have just come out of designer and trying it in photo. But in photo how do I add an arrow head to a line? Best Regards, Steve.
Komatös
If it is to be just the tip, then use the triangle tool. Otherwise you can use the arrow tool. This has nothing to do with the Designer question Just look for the stroke in the Context toolbar once you have selected the curve/line. Komatös
No, there is no function to trim like Affinity Photo Quote AMD Ryzen 7 5700X | INTEL Arc A770 LE 16 GB | 32 GB DDR4 3200MHz | Windows 11 Pro 24H2 (26100.2161) Affinity Suite V 2.5.5 & Beta 2.6 (latest) Interested in a free (selfhosted) PDF Solution? StuartRc
You can do it with artboards in Designer with: 1. View - Clip to canvas [\ key] 2. Rasterize and Trim -Also something I use a lot is Rasterize and Trim' on the Layer Panel Menu. Really useful for cropping back images that overhand the artboard 3. Mask to below with rectangle in layer above 4. Paste everything inside a rectangle Quote Affinity Version 1 (10.6) Affinity Version 2.5.5 All (Designer | Photo | Publisher) Beta; 2.6.0.2831 OS:Windows 10 Pro 22H2 OS Build 19045.4412+ Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19056.1000.0 Rig:AMD FX 8350 and AMD Radeon (R9 380 Series) Settings Version 21.04.01 Radeon Settings Version 2020 20.1.03) + Wacom Intuous 4M with driver 6.3.41-
