can't start Affinty anymore

Hello,
after a research crash I can't start Affinty anymore. It plopt briefly the first window aud (fonts are loaded) and then is standstill. Reinstallation did not help. Can anyone help? I work with Window10

Welcome to the forums @Brucker,

Try this. Start the Application with the Control key held down until you see the Clear User Data window. This will give you the opportunity to clear out some problems which may be present. There will be three checked items in the dialog window just keep the second one checked, then hit Clear.

(works for Affinity Designer, Photo and Publisher)

 Hello Old Bruce I have done, but unfortunately did not help. Somewhere there is still an artifact from the last start before the computer crash.

Try leaving all three checkboxes checked.

Unfortunately, does not help either. Sometimes the message comes up and a Verson from Affinty is already running. But I can not find them and stop. Also a reinstallation did not help.

Does Task Manager not show any relevant entries on the Processes tab?

Which if any Affinity app does this message indicate is running? There are three Affinity apps so it might help if you told us which one(s) you have.

It is the Affinty Photo. in the task manager is not recognizable. At startup, Affinity Photo(2) is briefly displayed in the task manager. However, this disappears again immediately.

Is this on the Applications tab or the Processes tab?
