After purchasing Affinity with free plugins I cant find them to use. I've tried plug ins button but nothing comes up

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

Where you might find them will depend on which of the 3 Affinity applications you purchased. I'll guess from your username that you're referring to Affinity Photo. For that application, the free content is delivered as Assets (which you might find in the Assets panel, View > Studio > Assets) or as PNG files.

The Assets will be installed automatically if you're signed-in to "My Account" in the application, and if you've either told the application to automatically install all content or you've clicked on those items to install them. If you haven't done that, or to get the PNGs, you can sign-in at https://affinity.store/account/downloads and download them from there.

Do you really mean plugins or something else, like brushes, textures, templates, etc.? AFAIK, there are no filter plugins that are included with the purchase of Affinity Photo, & Affinity Designer & Affinity Publisher do not support filter plugins.
