I had a problem with saving the files after making some changes to the artwork.
When I’m saving artwork and then trying to save it again but let’s say I want to keep the same artwork with different colours of the background… Affinity is still keeping the previous artwork with old background, even though I see the changed background in the app. That’s very strange and has never happened before, and I’m using this app for yearsI have problem with saving the files after I made some changes to the artwork.

If you're talking about Exporting (not Saving), then possibly:

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums   I think that username should be changed, but that is up to you.

This is unfortunately a common problem that is has been reported to the developers already, and I hope will be addressed in a future version. Walt has pointed to an FAQ that covers this

  IMPORTANT UPDATE for anyone still using V1 Affinity applications - 

Versions 1.10.6 of the Affinity suite have been released, which we believe fixes this export issue.
