Rawny
My affinity is currently locked to an old product key from my school, I'm trying to move it to my new account but can't find where to change the product key. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting the program files before reinstalling, changing keys in the registry editor, to no avail. I've attached a screenshot of the message I get when I try to launch the program. Any help with this would be appreciated!
Komatös
Hi, @Rawnyand welcome to the forums. If you on Windows navigate to C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Designer\1.0. ProgramData is a hidden folder, so if you don't see this folder, then you must activate the hidden folder option in the Windows file explorer You find this under View -> "hidden elements". There is a licence.xml located in the folder 1.0. You must delete the licence.xml. Possibly it changes something. Did you download and install the program from your personal account, or are you using an old installation of the program? walt.farrell
Are you in Windows or Mac? Where did you purchase the program? Did you try the instructions in the FAQ, or only the ones from @Komatös?
