Troy Wymer Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 This is a feature request. I would like the ability to have separate units of measure for paragraph spacing (want in inches) than I have for character font size (want in points). I understand that the units can simply be entered into the field (25 in) even if points is selected, but that’s not ideal. I would prefer not having to continually go into the preferences user interface and checking/unchecking the box for displaying units in points. When I’m formatting books, I use inches for paragraph spacing, so I don’t want to see points listed there. Of course, my font size under the Character pallet needs to stay in points. Please add the ability to control the Character and the Paragraph pallets with different units of measure. Quote
v_kyr Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Hi and welcome! 1 hour ago, Troy Wymer said: This is a feature request. Those go usually here into one of the forum sections here ... Feature Requests & Suggestions ... and in your case either for all Affinity Desktop tools, or a specific section one! However, hopefully your request will be moved by a moderator into the right forum section then. Old Bruce Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 You can enter "0.25in" into the spacing box and that will be accepted.
