Gerard Moeres Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 ist es möglich, mehr als eine Datenquelle in einem Dokument gleichzeitig zu verwenden? Ich möchte z.B. auf Seite 1 Daten aus Datenquelle A benutzen und auf Seite 2 Datenquelle B is it possible to use more than one data source in a document at the same time? For example, I want to use data from data source A on page 1 and data source B on page 2. Quote
Old Bruce Posted March 12, 2022 Posted March 12, 2022 If by different data sources you mean two or more separate XLXS or CSV files the answer is no. You would need to do one then take that merged document and set it up with the second. Be far easier to make a third XLXS document containing both bunches of data. Gerard Moeres Posted March 12, 2022 Author Posted March 12, 2022 Thank you, that's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. Quote

I have not played with it much yet, and from your answers in these forums you have done much more with Data Merge than I. However, from a tutorial video I watched I think the answer should be "yes", though it would take setting up the two data sources, and making appropriate use of the offset and other data merge settings and tools. I have watched that video a few times and I have to say I do not understand what the hell is going on in it. Part of the problem is that we don't have access to the spreadsheet(s) and other bits she uses. Also I am fairly certain that only one CSV file is used, I don't know why it is loaded twice.
