Bryce
I recently saw an autocad PDF that held the layers/names and the ability to turn them on and off like in Affinity but this is in the exported PDF. How can I do this in Affinity Designer?
R C-R
Are you asking how to make layers invisible ("off") in Affinity Designer or something else? Bryce
no. What I want is to be able to export a PDF that has the layers from Affinity to show in Acrobat. Such as a topographical map where I can turn off or on named layers in Acrobat such as streets or water lines, etc. where the layers transfer to Acrobat as are named in Affinity. I had not seen this before until today.
joe_l
@Bryce You have to add Layers (e.g. with the Add Layer button in the Layers panel) and move the Elements into those Layers and use an export preset that has the option to include Layers (hiding under the More button). For demonstration purposes I attached two files for you to look. And don't worry, you can open the afpub even in ADesigner. layers.afpub layers.pdf Bryce and Callum 2 Quote ---------- Windows 10 / 11, Complete Suite Retail and Beta
Bryce
Hi Joe, I didn't realize that export option before. Thanks for pointing that out! Bryce
