DMY1000
I have many rectangles. I would like to be able to change them all to rounded rectangles (and possibly back, if I don't like the result). I know how to select all rectangles (Select > Select Same > Shape), but I can't figure out how to change the shape. How can I do this please? walt.farrell
You can't change to a different shape preset. But with either Rectangle or Rounded Rectangle you can adjust the corner specifications in the Context Toolbar. I don't know how well that will work for multiple objects at one time, though. David in Яuislip
This works in Photo, I'd be surprised if Designer can't do it walt.farrell 1 Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/

What is a bit weird is that there really is no difference between rectangles & rounded rectangles for the corner choices -- in fact, if I add a custom preset shape to one it appears in the presets for the other as well. That means one way to 'reset' a rounded rectangle to a regular one with sharp corners is to create a preset with all 4 corners set to "None," so it can be used for that. Not that it is of much practical value but example.aftoolpresets includes several of my custom presets including one named "plain rectangle' that does that.
