Brush Smoothing Destroys Ability to Draw Basic Lines with any Accuracy

Recommended Posts

The line smoothing feature makes it impossible for me to draw lines that correspond to the path my pencil takes. This is insane.

I start drawing at one point, and the brush tool adds a tail that jumps way down below because it is near another stroke. The only possible appropriate reaction is: "WTF?".

The feature request was added in 2015 to be able to disable smoothing. 7 years later, it has still not been implemented. How does this make even the slightest amount of rational sense?

Hi  there AsherAtStrongAI, sorry to hear you are having issues.  I am having difficulty picturing your problem. Could you post a screen recording demonstrating the issue. (preferably with show touches activated). Also what smoothing method/setting are you using? 🙂

This might be your perspective, and probably ok reacting in a private context. From my view, it is far less appropriate to be published in a civilized public forum like this.
