Hello, I've noticed there's a small No Entry sign that's suddenly appeared at the side of the Black & White circles when working in RGB or CMYK. What does it mean and how do I get rid of it. I've enclosed a screenshot showing the No Entry logo.

Cheers, Emar

That indicates either No Fill or Stroke color. A solid circle represents Fill, while a Doughnut appearance is Stroke.

Instead of using a Doc file to attach screenshots, you can attach jpg, png, files directly to your post. That way members can see without having to download a file.

I still don't know why it's suddenly appeared. Is there anyway I can delete or hide it?

I think it should always be there, and should always have been. It provides a quick and easy way to set the foreground or background colour well to ‘No Fill’. Why do you want to delete or hide it?

Like @Alfred mentioned, it has always been an item on any panel that shows foreground & background color wells. So you should see it in the Colors panel, the Swatches panel, & also in the Tools panel if it is set to show 2 or more columns.

Functionally, it is not a 'no entry' symbol. Like the curved, double-headed arrow icon above & to the right of it, it is a button that performs an action if clicked.

It was just the fact that I hadn't seen it there before and wondered what it was foe.
