Does the same issue happen on a new document, or only with one specific document?

Hi @dantaylr,

Our sincerest apologies for the delayed response here, we were extremely busy over the Christmas period and working from home during the pandemic is unfortunately extending our response window to be longer than normal, many thanks for your continued patience and understanding here.

Figured out how to reproduce it from a blank document! The issue occurs after you paste text with differing paragraph spacing into another text box. After the text is inserted, tapping the spacing button will crash the app.

I have tried this using the Arial font and I'm unable to replicate the crashing shown - however I can see you're using a font which isn't a system default font. Could you please try this method once again using Arial/a different system font and let me know the results you experience?

Alternatively, if you can provide a copy of the font used in the document, I'd be happy to test this again using your font!

Many thanks in advance :)

Totally understand this and thanks for your reply. Hope you were able to have an enjoyable holiday.

Okay so I just tried this using Arial in a blank document. No crash occurred. I did however notice that when I pasted text from one box into another, the text was automatically formatted the same as the text in the box. I don’t recall this behavior previously. Do you know if this was a change in a recent update?

Thanks for confirming that for me!

I'm in the process of downloading & installing this font, so that I can report this bug directly to our developers :)

As far as I'm aware, this has not been changed recently - however you may be seeing the difference between a 'Text Frame' object and 'Artistic Text' object.

When pasting text into an existing Text Frame, the original formatting will be kept. When pasting into an existing Artistic Text object, the formatting will 'update' to match the text that already exists in this object.

I hope this clears things up!
