elguapo
Well, subj. I remember that Affinity was very mouse-scroll friendly long before Illustrator and every field was precisely manipulated with the scroll: from layer overlays to transform. Now I'm back to Apple's original mouse and see that it works only on fonts.
Staff MEB Posted December 3, 2021 Staff Share Posted December 3, 2021 Hi @elguapo, As far as I'm aware it never worked with the Magic Mouse. It does work with a regular scroll mouse though. I will check with the dev team if this is supposed to be supported. Thanks for raising the issue. Staff MEB Posted December 3, 2021 Staff Share Posted December 3, 2021 Hi @elguapo, Some users have complained they were changing the values accidentally via the magic mouse scroll so the feature was disabled/turned off completely. This is indeed by design. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

Apple has never made a decent mouse. Never. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I did accidentally change values in Character panel with apple mouse's scroll, but I'd never turn off this feature because of this and don't plan to buy new mouse specifically to work with Affinity products. elguapo
Ok, I wasn't aware that you can drag name and control almost any numeric field. Maybe Apple Mouse support is not that important. The only complain is that stroke name doesn't work that way. It'd be much faster.
