Luciano_SB Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 (edited) Hi, do you know how to make the pencil tool occupy a single layer in affinity designer? since I make a new stroke it generates a new layer and the sculpt tool only works when the stroke is continuous Edited November 25, 2021 by Luciano_SB Quote
firstdefence Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 @Luciano_SB I don't think that's possible. PaulEC Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 Probably not quite what you want, but you can select all the curve layers then go to Layers, Geometry, Merge Curves, to put all the strokes on one layer. The problem is that every time you add another stroke it will create a new layer, so you would have to keep merging them. (You could create a custom keyboard shortcut to make this quicker.) Mostly just curious, but why do you want to do this? If you do as @PaulEC suggests to put multiple vector curves (whether made with the Pencil tool or not) into a single "(Curves)" layer, then each individual curve must have the same stroke & fill properties (width, pressure profile, color, etc.). So unless this is something you want, it is usually better to leave each curve on its own layer & if desired group them together if you want to treat them as a single object.
