If I happen to be on the Colour I want to use and I go to Pixel Mode and select a brush, it won't work until I change the colour to something else and then back again.

This results in constant frustration as to why I'm not seeing pixels on the screen, until I realise - it's that annoying bug again..

I've never seen that.

Does this happen in all documents? Can you provide a video? What iPad model and iPadOS release are you using, and what Affinity Designer release?

Hi @awakenedbyowls,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble!

I've tried this here and unfortunately I'm not able to replicate this - using the Vector Brush Tool in the Designer Persona, then switching to the Pixel Persona, selecting the Paint Brush tool and I'm able to paint in the same colour instantly. I've included a screen recording of my steps below -

If these differ from the steps you're taking, could you please provide a screen recording showing the options you're using and the brush not working in the pixel persona?

Many thanks in advance :)
