Nikon Girl Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 I would like to select a background color for all of the fill pages assoicated with my images for my project, but all I see is the RGB and Hex color charts where you randomly select a color from the blended pallet and I'm unable to find a way to have a uniform color each time I open a new photo. For example if I want to use pure black or pure white, I'm finding it almost impossible to get a clean color and to be able to identify it later for another photo, thanks. Quote

Nikon Girl Posted November 14, 2021 Author Posted November 14, 2021 Thank you for that, but what about for other colors. Unfortunately in my project it must be exact and without slight hue differentiation and I'm finding this impossible to do. Any help is appreciated, thanks. Quote
Alfred Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 My apologies. I shouldn’t haven’t focused solely on the black/white part of your post! For consistent colours across multiple objects in a document you can create a Document palette, and for consistent colours across multiple documents in a project you can create an Application palette. Old Bruce Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 Make a new document and create a Document Swatch Palette. Fill it with the colours you want to use over and over again. Save this document. Export the Palette with a meaningful name. Import it into other new files. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
walt.farrell Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 Note that if you want Global colors you must use a Document Palette, not an Application Palette. Also, in addition to the idea of exporting a document palette and importing it into other documents you could create a Template that contains the document palette, and start future projects using that template.
