Some images are rotated when exporting a PDF

The reason is that the rotation in the Exif-data is different. Copy the image and past it in Affinity Photo. And then you see the correct image. There has something going wrong in the exif-data. You can correct this.

I imagined something similar.

Unfortunately the suggested solution does not work for me: this is just 1 image of about 1'800, imported automatically from a PDF generated from a webpage.

It's the first time I came across this error, I think it was not present in previous version.

Hello @MEB, is there any update about this issue?

This bug affects my working and, since my publications contains thousands of images, it's really impossible for me to correct them manually.

I have also tried the current beta but the problem persists.

Thank you for your help.

Lorenzo

Hi  Lorenzo,
Sorry the delay getting back to you.
Yes, currently all versions suffer from this including the Beta and the previous one (1.9) so reverting back isn't a solution either.
Rasterising the images (or export using the Flatten preset) does fix the issue as you discovered but i understand it's not desirable. I do not have a solution at this moment unfortunately. I've passed the issue to the development team which is looking into it.
