dannyg9 Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Lovely when the software you choose just keeps getting better. The whole suite is a part of this, but mostly Publisher. MaartenTummers, Burch Russell, industrialstudios and 3 others 6 Quote
VectorWhiz Posted August 3, 2021 Posted August 3, 2021 It takes a lot of skill to create such a complex lay-out that does the creative tattoo work justice. It's making a work of art with works of art. dannyg9 1 Quote Home: https://vectorwhiz.com : : : : Portfolio blog: https://communicats.blogspot.com : : : : https://writhedwrites.blogspot.com/
Wosven Posted August 4, 2021 Posted August 4, 2021 A really nice issue, text is readable without effects like strokes or shadows. Felicitations dannyg9 1 Quote

I really try to match the background with a monochromatic color are a 10-15% opacity of an image so as not to distract from the focus of the pieces and the overall issue, which is the tattoo work. Only for certain pieces do I ever put a 5 pt. stroke frame on the photos. I have seen other publications that do just the opposite. Personally I find that a distraction. Quote
DBoy Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Looks like some great work here, I've been known to actually purchase these types of mags and have also been working with Publisher lately. I'm wishing Affinity will come up with a digital flipbook creator or something so we can add a digital magazine option without 3rd party apps. Quote
