Quick query. Not sure where to ask or search for an answer to this.

Does anyone know what this window that keeps popping up when I click on layers in the layer panel with my XP-Pen? It's just started doing this recently.

I don't know if it's a Windows setting, and if it is I don't know how to turn it off.

That looks like an IME (Input Method Editor) window, allowing you to switch to a different keyboard language. Try clicking/tapping on the keyboard settings icon (top left) or the ellipsis (top right) to see what options are available.

It seems to happen when I'm editing the name of the layer. The name also appears in this window.

Trying to find something in the settings on windows to turn it off..

See if I can figure this out next time it pops up maybe.

I can confirm this is a Windows setting, specifically the Handwriting Input window where you can 'write' with your input device and this will be converted to text, added to the input you have active currently.

You can find out more about this here -

Thanks, Dan. The line for writing on was a bit of a clue!
