Avoxur
"Select Same" menu allows to select hidden and locked layers and change their fill and stroke colours and even delete selected layers. Staff Gabe Posted May 21, 2021 Staff Share Posted May 21, 2021 Hi @Avoxur, Sorry for the delayed reply and welcome to the forums. This is by design. A locked layer is only locked for transform actions, and ignored when trying to select it on the canvas. All other actions still work. Staff Gabe Posted May 21, 2021 Staff Share Posted May 21, 2021 Thanks for raising this issue - we have closed it as "By design".
zzbrufador
Well, if the layer is locked (and/or hidden) it should be locked for any actions, not only transformations. I think this is not a normal behavior. hokic, Rudolphus and kei
Rudolphus
I agree with @zzbrufador! The way it works "by design" IS WRONG and is NOT as useful as it could (SHOULD!) be. This way we have crippled control over making complex selections in LARGE documents. I understand it is not a bug for now. But, @Gabe, can you, PLEASE, move it feature requests? zzbrufador
