Keyboard shortcuts in text styles of Affinity Publisher crash the program.

Keyboard shortcuts for affinity publisher text styles in version 1.9.2.1035 cause the program to crash. Impossible to get it back. This did not happen in the previous version

Windows 10

My interpretation of the OP was that the problem is with a text style whose definition specifies a shortcut key, not with the shortcuts you've shown in your screenshot.

From the Help:

To assign a keyboard shortcut to a text style:

  1. On the Text Styles panel, click on a listed style's options menu and select Edit.
  2. In the dialog, select the Style section and then click inside the Keyboard shortcut box.
  3. Press your required key combination.
  4. Click OK.

 

I'm not sure which interpretation of the OP is correct :)

@walt.farrell @SPaceBar I think Walt has the right interpretation; and I remember seeing that once before in a help-seeker's work file.

My suggestion was to deactivate the hardware acceleration.

Maybe the problem is language related? At least works for me on a German system, with English GUI and HWA on.

You're right, I made a mistake. It was not the hardware acceleration, but the selection item "Show examples" in the "Hamburger menu".
