We have Group

Inside Group we have e.g. Curves.

This Curves has separate Mask.

This solution produces some result.

And now we are moving Mask from Curves directly to Group.

As I can see in the second screenshot, the curve adjustment directly affects the lower layers without taking the mask into account. In this scenario, the mask has no influence on the pixel layers below.

This is an ancient bug. 

That continues to appear in the forum but you manage to forget about it as well. Let's hope this time this issue is actually handled.
