Marcoz Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 Hi, I have Affinity 1.9.7 running on iPad Pro 9.7” and the top left menus (arrow back, document and ...) are very unresponsive to touch. I have to press many times to be able to open them. Is this known? Any solution? thank you Quote
GreenLion Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 Also experiencing this, tested my screen In those locations on both sides with other apps and it seems to be happing just in affinity designer for me. Marcoz 1 Quote

Yes I did the same... the touchscreen works properly with any other app, only affinity designer is unresponsive in those spots. It wasn’t happening with the older version I believe. GreenLion 1 Quote
GreenLion Posted April 3, 2021 Posted April 3, 2021 Same, I am on a 2020 iPad Pro 12.9, experiencing similar issue still. Marcoz 1 Quote
Alfred Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 The ‘Home’, ‘Document’ and ‘Edit’ buttons all work as expected for me in the latest release of AD (version 1.9.9) on the 9.7″ screen of my iPad Air 2, in both landscape mode and portrait mode. Are you using an Apple Pencil (which I can’t use on my iPad)? Staff Sean P Posted April 7, 2021 Staff Posted April 7, 2021 Hi Marcoz, I have an iPad Pro 11" 2018 and a 1st Gen iPad Pro 12.9" to hand and I'm not able to reproduce. A similar issue has been mentioned before and we've been informed there is an issue in iOS that can cause the edge to become slightly unresponsible, but a restart of the iPad has generally solved that. Would it be possible for you to completely turn the iPad off and then restart it please and give it another go. Quote

It’s strange because no other app seemed affected and it never happened to me before with Designer either. thank you! Quote
