Bren
Hello! I did the round cap for the donut circle but it's not round?? Every time I save it, it's not round at all. PLEASE help me, I'm so tired of this lol
R C-R
The cap options in the Stroke panel set the shape of the start & end of strokes. This has nothing to do with the overall shape of an object (like a donut or ellipse) so unless for example you set a stroke start or end shape (like an arrow) for your donut you won't see any difference regardless of the cap style you use. NotMyFault
If you want to add round caps to a donut shape, you might use these workflow (but converted to curves): Create donut adjust angle and size. Use numeric input to get pixel-exact size and position. add 2 circles and position them at the edges. use transform panel to set pixel-exact size and position layer->geometry->add Alternatively, you may use the node tool to create a perfect half circle at the edges, but i found this more complicated (no option to use numeric input) Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | Windows 10 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps. G13RL
You can draw the "Donut", set "Hole Radius" to 100%. Choose values for "Start Angle" and "End Angle". Set the line thickness and set "Join" to "Round Join". The donut remains editable. NotMyFault
