Welcome to the forums @Marc Braine

If you can tell us:

  • Where you are getting the stock image from (which provider);
  • Which stock image you are trying to place;
  • How we can find that stock image for ourselves (which search terms);

...then we might be able to help further.

Also, which OS are you using?

Hello,
Thank you for your quick reply
My operating system is windows 10
the images I tried are from Unsplash,
These are the following pictures: adriel-kloppenburg-04zTvMalMfU-unsplash, reno-fabienne-Qm4X4EznxB4-unsplash, jeremy-bishop-ml4X8j269Lk- unsplash
To find them I used the words "cloudy sky"
However, I just tried with an image from pixabay, it works.
Cordial greetings

Marc

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

I’ve just tried this myself on some random pictures from the Unsplash provider (on Windows 10, Photo 1.9.1.979).
When I searched for “car” I could drag four random images to the document okay (see attached image).
When I searched for “beach”, the first time I tried to drag an image into the document the application crashed.
Get the same crash after dragging from a search for ”cat” or “frog” or “tree” too.
Seems a bit ‘random’ but I don’t know the images enough to say what the similarities/differences are.

On my iMac, when I try to drag anything from Unsplash into AD or AP 1.9.x (beta or retail, makes no difference) the app does not crash but nothing is added to the document. Pexels & Pixabay work fine.
