Old Bruce Posted March 3, 2021 Share Posted March 3, 2021 I am having so much difficulty with the new beta, anything to do with layers seems to mess it up and I have to force quit. It is so bad I can't even figure out if it is a layer type being added or if it is already included. Mac OS 10.14.6 using a Wacom tablet and pen. I cannot add a layer be it pixel, adjustment, fill or filter with out serious slowdown and then complete halting requiring a force quit. New Documents or opening older documents. Snapshots may be involved with the problem but I cannot get far enough into a session to say for certain. I am going to have to wait for a new beta to continue testing. Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear. I have posted quite a few times about problems I have with layers in AP v1.9.1, they disappear, impossibility to write a caption and more. I have these problems only partially solved when I upgraded to the new Big Sur 11.2.2. I just wonder if you had the same problems with the same AP and which is your hardware. Mine is in the photo.
