Clem Art
I have paid for an older version (Affinity) for my OSX.6.8 version. I lost the program & need to re-install it. clem99
Old Bruce
Hi and welcome to the forums @Clem Art It depends on where you purchased it from.If it is from the Mac App Store just sign in with the same Apple ID and download it, If it is from Serif's Store then you'll need to find the product key from when you purchased it. Out of curiosity I booted my 2008 MacBook from Snow Leopard, and while I was able to successfully log into my App Store account, I'm getting this message when trying to install Designer or Photo: Quote We could not complete your purchase. Affinity Photo can't be installed on [Macintosh HD] because Mac OS X version 10.9 or later is required. Was there ever even a Snow Leopard compatible version in the first place? I was using Mountain Lion when I bought Designer in 2014. Mac App Store versions 1.8.x still worked on Mountain Lion, the last time I checked, albeit always with quite a few UI display issues. As far as I’m aware, the MAS versions of the Affinity apps can run on OS X Lion and Mountain Lion but the Affinity Store versions need a later version of the OS. Staff Patrick Connor Posted February 12, 2021 Staff Share Posted February 12, 2021 Not the 1.9.0 release Alfred. Lion and Mountain lion support stopped at 1.8.6 it was unavoidable. Those few MAS owners on the earlier OSs will not be offered the patch The Big Sur compatible Xcode and some new functions meant it simply would not run Alfred 1 Quote Patrick Connor Serif Europe Ltd Latest V2 releases on each platform Help make our apps better by joining our beta program!
