Hi @Suirdzign, welcome to the Affinity forum.

Our workbooks are not version dependant.

We enlisted the help of professional Affinity users who take the reader through projects they have created.

The projects can be followed irrespective of which version of our apps you may be using.

Any spelling or grammatical errors found in the above post are deliberate and included to boost the self-esteem of those who spot them.

Surely this does not follow to V2

The workbooks are for V1. The comment you quoted was prior to the existence of V2, and referred to not needing a new workbook if you updated from 1.7 to 1.8 to 1.9 to 1.10.

There are no new workbooks for V2, and none planned. Many of the concepts in the V1 workbooks apply to V2, but the fine details (icon appearance, etc.) will be different, and there are new functions not covered in the workbooks at all.

there is a definite need for addenda to the workbooks

You may perceive a need, but Serif have said there are no updates to the old Workbooks planned, and no new Workbooks coming.

Perhaps they will provide something different at some time in the future.
