I have no problem opening TIFF files here on Mac OS 10.14.6 I can also use the menu command File > Place to 'import' a tiff file into an already open file. Where have these TIFF files come from? Meaning what program created them?

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Hi DWright,        Yes I have tried to open from a separate drive, and from the desktop, no different really, and my OS for the Mac comp. is 10.13.6 with 16Gb Ram.

Strange thing is in one of the tutorials, a TIFF is dropped into the document, which is why I thought I would do the same
