AlanPickup
If I apply a style to a shape as below I then decide I do not like that and do control + z to undo then click on another style e.g. 80's Disco it applies the previous style because it is still highlighted In general clicking in the styles panel seems sporadic on how many clicks you have to use Alan Pickup Windows 11 Home all Affinity suite of Apps PC and Gigabyte Laptop 16gb Ram and Nvidia GTX1660 Super on each. walt.farrell
Which beta version are you using? That was listed as fixed in build 1.9.0..887 and it seems to be working properly for me in .920. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
AlanPickup
Hi Walt Using .920 it seems to take a lot of clicking to get the focus on a style and then you have to double click, click again to apply the style. Then if you undo the focus remains on the previous style and clicking on the next style applies the previous style. I have a Nvidia GTX 1660 Super Graphics Card with openCL active. Tried it without openCL and still the same single click does not do anything in styles. I have to doouble click a style to get focus and then click again to apply nodeus 1 Alan Pickup Windows 11 Home all Affinity suite of Apps PC and Gigabyte Laptop 16gb Ram and Nvidia GTX1660 Super on each. walt.farrell
That was certainly the behavior I experienced before .887, but it was fixed then and remains fixed (for me) in .920. I am not sure why it's still misbehaving for you. Does it happen in a new document, or only in old documents? -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
AlanPickup
New documents and old, tried changing the mouse. I am also getting glitches in 1.8 latest release, single click works but depending where I click in the panel. If I click the bottom item it scrolls rather than selects Definately looking like the graphics card. Will try on my laptop this evening, although that has a GTX card. Staff Gabe Posted February 4, 2021 Staff Share Posted February 4, 2021 Hi @AlanPickup, We've just released the 1.9 public update. Can you replicate it there?
AlanPickup
Exactly the same Also note that the change of font size when grouping objects has not been fixed, do we now start following up in the release forums? walt.farrell
@Gabe: The issue is when the Styles panel is in "Show as list" mode. It works fine in normal mode, so apparently the bug (which used to affect normal mode, too) was fixed only there. That is consistent with @AlanPickup's screenshots and with this new report: -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
