Fish.Townsend
I'm new to using Affinity Publisher on Mac to create monthly Newsletters. I'd like to save Pages I've created as Masters. Affinity Publisher Help says this can be done with the Book Layout Editor, but there's no further direction anywhere for finding the Book Layout Editor. Thank you in advance for your input! GarryP
Welcome to the forums @Fish.Townsend I’ve never heard of the “Book Layout Editor” but I don’t know every area of the software either. In which part of the Help did you see it mentioned. You can probably copy the layers from a page and them paste them into a master page You might want to clear the contents of some layers – text, picture frames, etc. – when you have pasted them but that should work unless there’s an easier/better way. Fish.Townsend
I'd love to show a snapshot of what I was seeing. Of course now it's not coming up at all (in the help/search on the desktop). The title was "Create Master from Page." If I get it back again I'll post it here. Thanks GarryP for the idea to copy over layers. I can see how that would get it done.

It doesn't but I thought there was some confusion over terminology so logically the pages panel would be the go to reference. Having said that I can't find any reference to a book layout editor nor a create master from page. What version of Affinity Publisher are you using? Did you have other apps open at the same time and maybe accidentally searched with their help files? carl123
In the help... "Master pages can be populated by copying and pasting content from a publication page to the master page." Seems like this is likely, since I can no longer re-create the search result. firstdefence
