walt.farrell
Can you give more information about what's happening when you try? Perhaps a screenshot of the problem, too? And are you talking about a problem importing styles or applying them? -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. FraGar
It happens when I try to pull a style in to let's say a ellipse, it do not do anything. There is no filling out in the selection. And you can see the writing in the top left corner is what pop up when I try to pull it.
walt.farrell
Thanks for the clarification. I'm not sure what's happening. I see that text, too, but for me the style is applied. I'll mention that you don't need to drag a style to an object. Just select the object, and click on the style in the Styles panel. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. walt.farrell
I agree that the text is confusing; perhaps that's a bug in the beta, but we'll have to wait for something from Serif about it. Staff Sean P Posted January 4, 2021 Staff Share Posted January 4, 2021 Hi FraGar, This is something we're aware of and is with development to be fixed. Currently its not possible to drag a style as you get the behaviour you're seeing, along with some difficulties that might require you to double click a style to get it to apply rather than single click.
