Align Text to Baseline Grid -- First line only

Recommended Posts

Set up your Paragraph style to not use the Baseline grid and set the space before (use Always for the use case) to however many points are needed to get the first line onto the baseline grid. Use case, you have 11 point text aligned to a 12 point baseline and then there is a caption or pull quote at 14 points leading, set the space before to 10 points to give 24, a multiple of 12. Or 9 on 10 give the space before 2 points for 12, a multiple of 12.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
