Not sure what to search for.

I hope this makes sense.

I have a node on a curve.  Is there a way to make both handles pulled out the same amount?

And then make them both even on the curve without trying to guess .

I want the curve to be as smooth as possible.

Maybe shortcut keys (or the instructions  that I can set shortcut to).

Questions?

Thanks for listening ...,

Bob

Hi, using the Node Tool (A) on Mac we have a cmd key which is normally comparable to the windows Ctrl key but we also have a control key and we use the Shift + Control key to move the node handles as if they were mirrored, not sure if a similar function works on windows using the Shift + Ctrl keys but worth a try.

OK, so I learned some things already.

Thanks for the tips.  I guess I would like to see some documentation for different situations with handles.

If you have a link or two, I would appreciate it.

Is the constrain for certain degrees, like 0, 45, 90, etc?.  Can this be set in preferences?

The left+right mouse button drags is something useful.  I will be using this.

I was just wondering if there was a way to make both handles the same size?  Not critical.

There are undoubtedly more little tips and tricks.  I'll keep looking.

Thanks for listening.

The rotational constraint is currently hard-set to 15º and there is no option to change this in preferences, hopefully this will be an option in a future release.

There are small vertical markers/indicators that display when the handles are of equal length but this is a manual process at the moment.

Thanks for the info.  Got a few new tips to work with.

Sometimes in looking at tutorials and help, it is overwhelming and you miss stuff.

And, I keep forgetting to look at the bottom of the screen.  Lots of stuff there ...

I'm getting a system working.  I really use shortcuts a lot.

Now, it I could only get the extra two buttons on my Logi mouse to work ...

Thanks again ...
