Sam Neil
Is there is reason why Bleed guides are not showing in Designer? Am I missing something or should be doing something?
Joachim_L
Perhaps the colour of the bleed guides is nearly the same as the gray background. Try changing the gray background in Preferences > User Interface. In the upcoming 1.9x versions you can define the colour of the bleed guides. GarryP
Are you sure there is bleed set in the Document Setup? It’s not set for all documents and depends on the preset/template you chose and any changes you might have made to the settings.
h_d
In Preferences - User Interface, if you set Background Grey Level to about here: The bleed line disappears almost completely. It's a pretty compelling argument for being able to set its colour as a preference, as is already possible with grid, guides and margins.
