Focus shift ?

Playing with a trial of Infinity Photo, and have enjoyed trying to understand the layout etc However today I took a known CR2 from a Canon 5DSR and developed it . I was keen to see the difference in colour etc between this and Canon DPP and Photoshop.  Perhaps more about the colour and contrast etc. later , but the bit that blew my hair back was that in a well known frame from Iceland the Infinity file developed and exported as a 16bit Tiff, had an area on the mid left of the frame very much out of focus !. This is correctly rendered in PS  and DPP . I started again from the same file , and it did it again ! This is not a small and arguable focus shift , it is mammoth, and in the area of the image well covered by the focus of the lens . The area is around 1/4 of the left mid frame .  I have experience with Capture One  and many other RAW converters/image fiddling software  , and have not seen this trick before.

Can you upload the CR2 file?

Sorry this is from a series on Iceland , and as a working photographer I would not release my RAW files.    Are you from Affinity , and employee or just a interested user ?

The file has been opened in both Photoshop and SPP without issue.

None of the above, I just shop a lot at Iceland so always on the lookout for any new food products or sales they have coming up. Just thought you might have some pre released, insider information.

If you are OK with uploading the image to Serif (Affinity) directly just request a dropbox link in this thread and they will send you one.
