Affintiy use not the folder where the raw file is, rather the the folder is uses at last. what can i do, that affinty open the folder with the raw file, instead of the "last folder"? neldot and StainX

Welcome to the forums! You can do nothing about it, because there is no option for changing this behaviour. But this is a much wanted feature. Maybe one day ... Fixx
Mac users have a little application called Default Folder which helps in cases like this.

Granddaddy
Five years of requests for exporting to the folder with the original photo has resulted in nothing, as discussed most recently at https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/124612-save-data-directory/ neldot 1 Quote Affinity Photo 2.5.5 (MSI) and 1.10.6; Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 (MSI) and 1.10.6. 4noxx
of course that doesn't speak for good support. it's a shame that serif leaves so many questions unanswered. support should also be sold. unfortunately poor. neldot
