Bond
I’d like one. Just realized it’s missing when I opened a PSD that had a layer set to Linear Dodge, which is very useful for creating nice glow effects.
rui_mac
The Add mode does the same as Linear Dodge.
Bond
The Add mode does the same as Linear Dodge. No, it doesn’t. http://d.pr/i/fm1l
evtonic3
Would someone at Affinity clear this up. What is the answer to this, Linear Dodge is obviously not in the list of blend modes, yet AD/AP has blend modes that PS doesn't have, (that i know of). Is there a cross-reference list for this, or are we dealing with different blend modes regardless of who has them?
PaintNut
I need Linear Dodge...not sure what the closest equivalent is. Does anyone know?
Alfred
As noted above, ‘Add’ is the closest available. For opaque images the effect should be the same as ‘Linear Dodge’, but if there are any semi-transparent regions in the image a different kind of alpha-blending is used and therefore the result will differ.
