Old Bruce
I have had multiple crashes trying to open more than 3 CR2 files at the same time. In the retail version I can open a couple of dozen at once but that is just slowing the machine to a crawl. Usually I will open between 5 and 8 files at once. If I open three and then three again I can work on all 6 of them without any problem and no slow down. I include several crash reports. photo beta crashes.zip Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Staff Chris B Posted September 16, 2020 Staff Share Posted September 16, 2020 Hey Old Bruce, I got the same crash opening 12 and then 8. I can't help but think this is an old issue that was just never resolved. I will do more poking. We shouldn't crash but I can understand the app taking a while to open so many files.
