Vector Brushes in Photo?

I recently downloaded the "Fineliner brushes" pack for Affinity photo. When I install the brushes they say "vector brushes installed" 

How can I access the vector brushes on Affinity photo? I don't see them show up in the brushes panel

I’m afraid you can’t use vector brushes in the app because there’s no Vector persona. Such brushes shouldn’t install in Affinity Photo, but they do!

Indeed, they are for Affinity Designer....  maybe you can get a refund for the $19,-

Assuming you mean the pack from Artifex Forge, those brushes are for Affinity Designer, not Affinity Photo.

I do mean those ! 

Whenever i download it appears as an affinity photo file, any way around this?

Right clicked to "open with" affinity designer

That, or open Designer, tell it to install the brushes, and navigate to that file in the File Explorer dialog.

Windows will show you (I think) the last program that registered itself as being able to handle that kind of file. If you want to use other programs you need to open the file from within the program (as I suggested above) or you need to use Open With (as you found).
