Eddy-2
In DrawPlus, I have a vertical line and can create a shadow emanating from the bottom of the line - a sort of 'sundial' effect. Is this possible in Designer?
PixelPest
No DrawPlus user here so I´m just guessing you might need a second line with transparency and blur perhaps?
Eddy-2
Thanks PP. Your answer seems to confirm that it's not possible. I've managed to do what I need in DrawPlus and bring it back into Designer. As you can see from the following example, it's a marvelous feature that DrawPlus has and produces a realistic shadow effect.
G13RL
You can achieve something similar by duplicating the form. Put the lower copy in grey, shear it, add a gaussian blur and a little transparency. jmwellborn

Eddy-2
Thanks G13RL. I did try that but the shape I tried it on was slightly more complex than the example I gave and it didn't seem to be working too well. I'll give another try.
